The personalized ramie canvas playsuit (video tutorial)

A little summer outfit before going on summer vacation!

I present to you my new custom playsuit created from the #MaRobeAtelierCharlotteAuzou patterns. I mixed the Caraco top version C with the Combinaison bottom in short version .

The straps are customized according to the pattern instructions. I widened them and they are held by a buttoning system, for a dungaree style. Find my inspirations for customizing the straps on the blog.

The fabric is pure ramie canvas in Terracotta from Stragier . In my fabric research, I want to try more natural materials and this canvas made from nettles is a great discovery. It has the appearance of linen, does not crease excessively and is very soft to wear.

I took advantage of this sewing project to film the step of sewing the waist of the Caraco top. I hope that the sheath grip to make this invisible seam on a lined top will be clearer with these images in addition to the illustrated instruction booklet. Happy sewing!
