Inspirations for sewing your own personalized dress #9

It's back to school time! It's the perfect time to swap your summer wardrobe for more fall-ready outfits. Today, I'm offering you five pattern/fabric combinations to inspire you to create your own unique and personalized dress .
couture inspiration black dress polka dots sezane like customizable pattern atelier charlotte auzou
Sézane dresses are a great source of inspiration for the couture community. The classic top combined with the skater skirt and puffed sleeves will allow you to create this back-to-school look. For the fabric, I recommend the polka dot viscose from Mercerine .
inspiration couture jumpsuit floral liberty pants personalized pattern atelier charlotte auzou
This look shows us how to modernize the floral prints of Liberty fabric by sewing a jumpsuit. For the pattern, pair the wide jumpsuit with the gathered top & Victorian collar . Use the blog tutorial to add a ruffle to the armholes. For the fabric, Liberty's Tana Lawn cottons are full of sublime prints like Petal and Bud in shades of pink.
couture inspiration asymmetrical pantsuit winter wedding guest pattern atelier charlotte auzou
Maybe you received an invitation for a winter wedding? For a modern look, opt for the pantsuit associated with the asymmetrical top . A pretty jacquard can allow you to create this look but be careful with the thickness of the fabric. I therefore suggest you sew this outfit with an Indonesian batik in rust tones found at Au fil d'Emma .
inspiration dress couture rosebush under the fig tree reformation customizable pattern workshop charlotte auzou
A seemingly wise fabric with roses from Sous le Figuier can give a young and modern look worn with boots. Create a mid-season dress by combining the classic top , the trapeze skirt in its peplum version and the 3/4 sleeves .
sewing inspiration mustard pleated midi dress pattern customizable atelier charlotte auzou
I love mustard color for fall outfits. And I also love the pleated panels from Stragier that allow you to create dresses by mixing the same fabric in its smooth version for the top and pleated for the bottom. Find the tutorial on the blog and create your unique dress with the boat neckline and short sleeves .
