Partners of the #jecoudsmarobedefête competition
To spoil the winners of the #jecoudsmarobedefête contest, I called on a great team of partners! These are brands that I really like for their products, but also for the team that brings them to life. We have a long-standing relationship in the workplace and I am delighted that they agreed to be partners of the contest. Let me introduce them to you!
I met Marie-Laure, the founder of the brand, in 2016 when I was creating wedding and bridesmaid dresses. I immediately loved her girlboss side. She designed and patented a hyper-innovative large backless bra.
Back to Glam is the lingerie that opens the doors to a backless wardrobe! Popular in the wedding world, for me it is a bra that can also be worn every day with our pretty dresses or knits with a low back.
The open back is a bit of a trademark of my patterns. So I'm delighted that Back to Glam is a partner of the competition.
Back to Glam is offering two winners a set of ultra-soft mesh open back bra and invisible boxer shorts.
A fan of Atelier Brunette since the beginning, it is for me the fabric brand that has helped modernize sewing in France. I remember the first boutique near Bastille, one of my favorite destinations for my fabric shopping.
Since 2013, Annabelle and Rajeev have been making us want to sew thanks to their collections of beautiful prints and quality materials made in India. My Atelier Brunette wishlist is always very very long! Does it do that to you too?
My party dress will be sewn with one of their fabrics, the Dobby night plumetis viscose. I'll meet you on Instagram stories to take you into my workshop during the making of the dress.
Atelier Brunette is offering a prize to each of the 3 winners.
2 m of Maple viscose crepe + 12 Glitz maple buttons 10 mm
2 m of Night viscose crepe + 12 Glitter night buttons 12 mm
2 m of Chestnut viscose crepe + 12 Jewel Chestnut buttons 9 mm
Each of the 3 winners will also receive Atelier Brunette goodies: the glittery nail polish in collaboration with Nailmatic , the brand's iconic shopping bag matching the fabric, as well as 2 mango wood bias tape spools .
I met the Janome team through an Etsy Craft Night in 2012. Thanks to them, I started to organize my sewing classes outside my apartment and on competition machines. I spent Saturday afternoons at the shop on rue de Courcelles sewing with you!
Janome is a Japanese brand of sewing machines. It is imported into France by the Exact company, a family business for over 50 years. Janome accompanies me in all my sewing sessions thanks to the Skyline S7 , my Rolls (!) that I bought myself after many years on a small, low-cost machine.
Janome is offering one winner a €125 voucher valid on their sewing machines and accessories .
It is thanks to Mango publishing that I became a sewing book author in 2015! I never thought I would be able to do this one day. Marylise, my first editor, spotted me on my blog (no social networks at the time!) to offer me to write my first book " Learn to sew your clothes and accessories ". I have since written 4 other sewing books with Mango .
Mango is a very rich sewing catalog that has grown a lot over the years. I love the " Atelier couture " collection with great authors like Charlotte Jaubert, Slow Sunday, Damn Good Caramel... It is perfect for improving your sewing skills and building your ideal pattern library.
Mango offers the 3 winners a book of their choice from the couture titles
Last but not least in the presentation of the partners of the La Petite Maison Couture competition.
I discovered Elaine's pretty labels and their super positive messages through Instagram. In just a few weeks, Elaine's textile labels have become a must-have for the sewing community. I'm sure many of you have been waiting for her pink envelopes to arrive in your mailbox ;) Me first!
“Hello beauty”, “Life is a party, dress accordingly”, “I ♡ life”... La Petite Maison Couture is super positive mantras to sew on your handmade clothes.
La Petite Maison Couture is offering the 3 winners a set of 8 “Life is a party” textile labels .
