For the end of year celebrations, I am offering you a competition in the form of a sewing challenge.

The creative challenge

Sew a personalized dress (or jumpsuit) for the end-of-year celebrations. The creation must be sewn using the customizable patterns #MaRobeAtelierCharlotteAuzou .

One of the first dresses I sewed (a long time ago!) was a little black dress for an evening. I remember looking for inspiration in my Vogue magazines, choosing the fabric and haberdashery, molding it directly on me (there weren't as many patterns back then), and the pride of wearing a creation that had many hours of creation in it on the big day.

For this challenge, I suggest that we experience this creative journey together during the month of December.

The program

• Week 1 (Dec. 4): Let’s get inspired!
Sharing inspiration for shapes, materials and finishes on the blog.

• Week 2 (Dec. 10): Let’s get started!
Choosing the size, sewing a canvas, making study pieces, adapting patterns...

• Week 3 (Dec. 17): Let’s sew!
It's time to sew the final dress. I will share with you all the steps of creating my custom dress.

• Week 4 (Dec. 24): Let’s celebrate!
Time for rest and celebration with loved ones for Christmas and New Year's Eve, beautifully dressed with your personalized creation ;)

How to participate?

You have until midnight on January 6, 2020 to submit your entry to the contest. To do so, share a photo of your creation and your creative experience on Instagram with the two hashtags #jecoudsmarobedefête & #MaRobeAtelierCharlotteAuzou (your Instagram account must be public).

The winners

At the end of the competition, a jury will determine the 5 most beautiful creations according to the originality and aesthetics of the creation and the photo. The number of likes will not influence our choice ;)

The lots

The 5 winners will win the complete #MaRobeAtelierCharlotteAuzou pattern library for life , namely all existing top, bottom and sleeve patterns as well as all future patterns as they are published.

Mango , the publishing house of my sewing books, is offering a book to choose from among the sewing books to the 5 winners.
