Your pattern includes several instruction booklets and pattern sheets. Each PDF file is numbered. The first file lists all the files included with your pattern. Check that all files open correctly before you begin.
Take the time to read the instructions below as well as the “User Guide” (file no. 3) before printing your pattern.
Print your pattern
Your pattern includes 4 pattern sheets. Choose the file that corresponds to your needs (follow the number):
7. A4 / US Letter with margins
8. A4 / US Letter without margins
9. A0 (maximum) with margins
10. A0 (maximum) without margins
A0 printing
For large-format printing, see our recommendations for online printing services on the blog . Some pattern sheets are smaller than A0 in order to reduce paper consumption.
100% scale / Actual size.
A4 / US Letter printing
Use the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
Use the Layers function to display only the size or sizes you want to print: View → Show/Hide → Navigation Panes → Layers.
Select “Actual Size” and “Auto” orientation.
Do not select “Choose paper source by PDF page size”.
We recommend printing in black and white and using draft mode.
Start by printing only page 3 of the file to check your settings before printing the entire pattern.
The test square must measure 5 cm on each side and the frame around each page must measure 18 × 25 cm. If these measurements are not correct, your pattern has not been printed at the correct scale and you will not be able to assemble it properly.

Although the test square measures 5 cm on both prints above, only the print on the right is correct. The frame must appear on every page in order to assemble your pattern correctly.
Assemble your pattern
To save time, you can cut only 2 of the 4 edges on each sheet, for example the bottom and right edges. Then tape the pages together, aligning the frames and markings.
The layout provided with each pattern, on page 2 of the A4 / US Letter pattern sheets, will help you put the pages together like a puzzle.
